This is my first article in my blog and to celebrate this what's better than a small overview of my first VIP evening. I was invited by SEPHORA MiddleEast to celebrate the opening of their brand new store in Jeddah. This women only celebration was the first of its kind in Jeddah and I was lucky to be part of the fun.
I have been hesitating for so long to start my blog, for so many months I started and stopped asking myself what would I say and what would I share. Yesterday made me realize how much I love make up, beauty and fashion and would love to share my passion with everyone interested. That's why I decided that this weekend will not only be the opening for another new Sephora shop but also the opening of my own beauty blog.
The evening started with having a late (Chinese) lunch with my friend who enjoyed this experience with me. by 7 pm, we were in front of the Sephora shop, I noticed the cars the huge amount of women all coming to enjoy an evening of pampering with beauty specialists: makeovers, nail applications and free gifts.
As I entered the shop, a sublime organization caught my eyes. I was welcomed by a red flower with a sample size of the BOSS Nuit Fragrance and some pastries and drinks.
3 stands were prepared for the ladies to enjoy being taken care of. The first stand I visited was the make up one (Make up lover that I am I couldn't miss it for the world). The make up artists asked what do I want ... few seconds later I still had no idea. I always go with the nude natural looks but today I wanted something different, something I wouldn't dare wear in the streets, so I asked her to surprise me. AND she REALLY did !!!!!!! She selected the Urban Decay electric palette for the eyes in addition to other products of the same brands such as urban decay primer potion, urban decay naked skin (Foundation), naked on the run palette (blush), revolution lipstick and 24/7 Glid-on Lip Pencil ...

After my make up was done, it was time for some manicure. The star brand was Formula X and I chose the color: Formula X for Sephora Nova. Later I also took care of my hair, The hairdresser chose a wavy style that I have never tried before (I have a curly hair by nature, so when I go to the hairdresser, which is rarely, I go to straighten my hair only).

Of course before I leave the shop, I had to spend some money and buy the lovely color she used for my lips: UD Revolution Liptick in Anarchy and UD 24/Glid-on Lip Pencil in Jilted (A color that I wouldn't buy in normal times, but I was happy to see that colors like that match perfectly my skin tone contrary to what I thought). I also got the Formula X in shade Turbulent and amazing Smart Roller Nail Stencils in Animal Print. I'm returning in a week to buy the electric

The Sephora people have been so nice to offer me and everyone else gift bags. Mine included: Sephora Lash Plumper Mascara, Sephora Duo Eyeshadow in Fresh Brown N5, Sephora Glossy Gloss in Confectionery 15, 2 sample sizes skin products and OF COURSE the BEST to the LAST : UD Triple Threat Travel Pencil Set 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencils.

For 5 hours, I enjoyed every single second I spent there, and I'm already ready for the next shop to open ...
